Trinchero Family Estates is a wine and spirits company based in California with a history dating back to 1948. Over the past decades, it has produced high-quality varietal wines by acquiring vineyards and wineries with choice weather and soil conditions. Today, Trinchero represents over 40 brands in the United States and imports from around the world.

When Trinchero first sent in a request for a detailed map showing the various wine making regions in California, we decided that the design has to meet two primary objectives. First, a visual balance must be maintained to ensure that the information is presented in a elaborate yet uncluttered style. Second, the design has to be timeless, but at the same time blend in with their existing branding and materials. For added flexibility, we have crafted the map so that it can be comfortably displayed or printed at various sizes from a website image to a movie poster, or anywhere in between.
